| | | | | YOU made our 50th Anniversary Event MEMORABLE! |
| | Dear Friends, After over a year of careful planning, and tremendous help from our Board, Event Committee, Staff & Volunteers, we had an incredible and successful evening at our September 21st event entitled: Through the Looking Glass: Celebrating 50 Years of BCLC! Located at the picturesque Misselwood, guests enjoyed a beautiful evening with spectacular ocean views, music provided by the very talented Beverly High School Band, and delicious food and drinks provided by Vinwood Catering. We had a fun Alice in Wonderland theme lending itself to whimsical decor and fun yard games like croquet. The most important part of the evening was our presentation, which included words and proclamations from local dignitaries inlcuding Sen. Joan Lovely, Rep. Jerry Perisella, and Mayor Cahill. We honored our wonderful Founder and friend, the late Mr. Robert Guyer, or Bob as we knew him. Bob's son, Charlie Guyer, gave a wonderful tribute and we were honored to have other members of his family and close friends in attendance. We ended the evening with a fun and successful LIVE auction and Paddle-Raise - featuring the very talented Emcee Andy Saks (Spark Presentations), who kept our guests engaged and entertained throughout the evening. I'd like to thank everyone who attended this momentous event. The generosity in the room was overwhelming. Please enjoy some photos of this magical evening. Thank you! Warm Regards, Judith A. We had the privilege of hosting members of the Guyer Family as we honored our Founder and friend, Mr. Robert Guyer "Bob". Bob's son Charlie eloquently spoke about his dad and the impact he had on our community. Without the support of Bob over the years, this night would never have been possible. |
